New T4 F ROPS in extra low profile version meets highly specialised needs of growers of awning crops
New Holland further expands its extensive speciality tractor offering with the new T4 F extra low profile version primarily focused on owners of awning crops, orchard work and applications in vineyards on steep slopes. The new standard front axle for this version brings the front of the tractor closer to the ground, with the hood standing just 135 cm tall. At the back of the tractor, the new low platform, available for 20’ and 24’ tyres, has the operator sitting just 73.5 cm from the ground, allowing them to move with great agility in restrictive conditions and under awning crops such as kiwis or table grapes without brushing against the valuable fruits. An optional front linkage and PTO with a lifting capacity of 2 tonnes is also available for the new T4 F version.
New TK4 model at the top of the range offers more power and a bigger hydraulic performance
New Holland has been synonymous with excellence in crawler tractors for more than 90 years, constantly improving the performance and operator comfort of its range. The brand is now extending the TK4 Series with a new 107 hp (79 kW) model at the top of the range, offering more performance and productivity for professional farmers. The new model features a new 80-litre 3-stage pump to deliver a bigger hydraulic performance, enabling customers to easily handle highly demanding implements.
New Holland has set the benchmark for crawler cabs and rubber tracks and is the only manufacturer to offer a cab – now upgraded – direct from the factory. The new cab, available on the four Mountain and Open Field versions, features a range of improvements that includes a new heat and dust shield between the engine compartment and the operator stations and a high capacity air conditioning system with bigger fans to ensure more consistency and better air flow. The T4K also offers exclusive features that make it easy to work safely and productively on very steep slopes, such as the Steering-O-Matic™ Plus system – the most advanced steering system available on the market – and the SmartTrax system, the only one on the market that combines the flexibility of rubber with the durability of steel.
T4 Low Profile Introduces new wider heavy-duty front axle for bigger front implements
The T4 LP features a new heavy-duty front axle with a new cast front axle support carried over from the T4 utility series, which gives it the strength mount wider tyres and operate with ease and excellent stability even the biggest front implements, such as front loaders or olive shakers.
The new heavy-duty front axle is 12 cm wider than its predecessor and has a capacity of 2,500 kg. The heavy-duty rear axle has a capacity of 3,700 kg, the rear linkage lifting 2,900 kg, and an optional 1970kg capacity front linkage is also available. With the new purpose developed wheel rims, the T4 LP tractor can offer 24-, 28-, or 30-inch track width settings to give an overall track width that can be adjusted from a minimum of just 1,588mm to an ultra-stable 2,432mm. The rear fenders feature flexible extensions to accommodate the wider track widths.
The T4 LP is available with a wide offering of tyres to suit a broad range of applications, including a choice of a large, high volume 540/65R28, 500/70R24, 420/70R30 rear tyres to suit heavy mounted equipment and to meet the demands of working in the steepest of terrain.
New Holland is also introducing other improvements, such as the new front EH differential lock, and the front brakes option for slope farming and enhanced road safety, and an optional 1970kg capacity front linkage.
Carlo Lambro, Brand President New Holland Agriculture, stated: “New Holland is the absolute market leader in the speciality tractor sector – a result built on a rich manufacturing heritage and a proven track record of innovation and expertise. The brand’s unique understanding of customers’ requirements for the varied and particular applications of the segment drives its research and development efforts.”
